New Year, New You, New World
We don’t have to live with Spiritual Autoimmune Disease!
Looking back on the last year, the last decade, does it do any good, all this self-reflection? Of course it does! I believe we have no greater task to perform than to know Self. I can hear some asking, “Really? Isn’t this egotistical in the light of all the problems in the world?”
Until we know Self, we will struggle to empathize with others. Until we understand the basic nature and composition of who and what we are as human beings, we will be working against ourselves, which means we will be working against one another. Until we know Self, which is to know Spirit, we will be challenged to experience and promote healing, reconciliation, and happiness. In fact, until we know Self, we will not know full and significant freedom in any arenas of life.
The bad news we see around this globe begs for knowledge of Self, so here it is: we are Spirit bearers. In these mortal bodies, we have Heart, essence and reality of eternal creator Spirit. Through Heart, we have access to all we need, including ways to learn, create, innovate, meet challenges, love others, and — no end to this list because there is no end to Spirit. Because of this, we may connect with Spirit in all others, all things; we may know the fellowship of the Heart.
