Creating from Emotions: Ego, Heart, and Chaos

I am not affiliated or a participant in any organized religion; however, the writings and practices of most of those religions I know have a similar reason for their origins: to bring us into connection with Divinity. I note this because I have known the Judeo-Christian writings found in the Bible. Many times the words from those books bound under that one title reflect wisdom, especially when not infused with the analysis or overlay of people who bend it to specific rationales in order to create separation from one another and establish their own “religion.” I find that repugnant.

However, I find wisdom and joy and, at times, comfort from the various writers. This morning, I thought much about the beginning of the Bible in the Book of Genesis. In fact, I’ve thought about it a number of times in the past month or so. This morning, in particular, my Heart used it to direct and apply life energies to emotions I felt. Yesterday, I mentioned that works of literature often are used to channel Spirit to aid in healing. Today, it was Genesis 1:2.

Allow me to back up a bit and give the context for why my Heart even channeled this to me through two of my totem birds and my guides.
