Choosing for Love, Equality, and Happiness

Here’s the deal for real. I want to write about this because I care. I also have insight and wisdom about our human essence. I wrote about it a few weeks ago. The protests around the nation and world right now represent shifts in consciousness, ones that at varying levels reject the patriarchal control, especially that of the White male.

If you don’t like this, that is a clear indication it’s not too late for you; your Heart is still functioning, that quiet voice whispering that each of us matters, that each race, society, culture, and all the subsets of those matter, and most significantly, that we are one, a unity. I wish to help, so I am sharing my truth, and it is truth. It might piss you off for the next few paragraphs.

Life and our existence matter based on the value we place on Self and the Other. We are the same, equal, one — yet each of us decides on how we assign meanings and feel about those meanings. Since I have been a child, I have cared about injustices. I don’t know why, but since I do, I refuse to temper or try to explain it away.
